It is great to be here. I deal with customers every day who need to first
choose a design before they get a tattoo. I don't keep any flash in my shop because I think it makes it too easy to "point and pick" since many people don't know just how creative they are. A site like this where people can talk about what they want and get multiple input on ways to make artwork carry their message is a wonderful resource!
I see too many tattoos these days that are more an expression of
"I want a tattoo but I can't think of anything unique about myself" than
"This tattoo has a lot of meaning for me, and look how cleverly it's been put together!". Having Tapsmack as a resource to discuss ideas and see more than one artist's ideas about how to best tell a story is going to be wonderful for someone like me.
